Unit Of Competency – TLILIC2001

This is a two to three day training program, designed for intermediate forklift truck operators, covering both theory and practical information proposed for a group between 4-6 people and includes:

• Successful students will be awarded a nationally recognised, Statement of Attainment (SoA) for TLILIC2001A - Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
• The WorkCover NSW Certificate of Competency is sent by WorkCover directly to the participant.
• Should an applicant be deemed as Not Yet Competent (NYC) Re-assessments can be carried out providing 48 hours has passed from the original assessment date.
• Applicants requiring re-assessment can be re-assessed in the units they were NYC in, providing the re-assessment is within 90 days from the original assessment date.
• If 90 days passes, a full re-assessment is required by WorkCover.
• WorkCover NSW advises against accepting the license fee; applicants are directed to forward all paperwork including the $67 licensing fee directly to WorkCover through any Australia Post outlet
• All paperwork MUST be received by WorkCover NSW within the 60 days window for certificates of competencies to be processed. If 60 days passes licence cards WILL NOT be issued and the certificate will become invalid.
• There are no pre-requisites for this course
• All Trainers and Assessors are registered with our RTO and approved by WorkCover NSW

Each participant will receive individual attention, ensuing they have accurately understood all the checks, procedures and operational methods required for the safe operation of an elevating work platform.

ELEVATING WORK PLATFORMS ARE CLASSIFIED AS A HIGH RISK WORK (HRW) LICENCE

Training and Formative Assessment
Training will be delivered and a formative assessment will be conducted against the required Unit of Competency. Students must be deemed competent before sitting for their summative assessment.

Summative Assessment
Being a HRW Licence, Assessment consists of a knowledge test, practical assessment and calculations test; this is conducted under the mandated current National Assessment Instrument.

Certification:

• Successful students will be awarded a nationally recognised, Statement of Attainment (SoA) for TLILIC2005A - Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (boom length 11m or more)
• The WorkCover NSW HRW Licence card is sent by WorkCover NSW, directly to the applicant.
• Should an applicant be deemed as Not Yet Competent (NYC). Re-assessments can be carried out providing48 hours has passed from the original assessment date.
• Applicants requiring re-assessment can be re-assessed in the units they were NYC in, providing the re-assessment is within 90 days from the original assessment date.
